dashaus The "Cortijo el Mesonero"is located on a small hill in the "Valle del Guadiaro" in the township of Jimena de la Frontera (Cadiz). Jimena is the most northern township in the Campo de Gibraltar, a region which descends from the "la Serranía" following the Guadiaro river. The main part of its area is included in the natural preserve "Los Alcornocales" famous for its rich inventory of cork oaks.  The rural house its located at around 4 kilometres distance from the nearest village what confers an exceptional tranquillity to this property and therefore turns the land house into an ideal place to rest but also to enjoy your free time.

 

"El Mesonero" consists of a seven hectares site which is splendidly suited to recreation and the enjoyment of it´s beauty and vast plantation of various fruit trees, artificial lake, the flowers and the ample terrace with views of Valle del Guadiaro, Serranía de Ronda, Sierra Bermeja y Sierra Crestellín.

One of the main attractions of " Cortijo El Mesonero" is the possibility of visiting Jimena, a beautiful "white Andalusian village" which still preserves rest of an Arab fortification , or the natural park "El Parque Natural de los Alcornocales".

Worth of mention is also the very known Jazz festival which is celebrated in mid July.
